Kirti Sharma is a Researcher and Programme Coordinator at Lokniti – Programme for Comparative Democracy at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi. She holds a Postgraduate degree in Political Science from Pondicherry Central University and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding (CTPB) at Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), University of Delhi. She completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science (Honours) from University Maharani College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Her research interests include women’s participation in elections, voting behaviour, democracy, representation, and the intersection of economics, finance, and politics in shaping women’s role in Elections. She focuses on female labour force participation (LFPR), institutional politics and women’s empowerment, decision-making roles, and is a learner in both empirical and action research.
